INTRODUCING SCHEPERS BOSMAN

Schepers Bosman is formed by fashion designer duo Sanne Schepers and Anne Bosman. Together, they have a collective design practice focused on hands-on research and craft. Schepers Bosman creates small-scale, artisanal clothing collections. Each piece is designed, developed and produced in a their in-house atelier in The Netherlands.

This approach to creation informs the aesthetic voice of Schepers Bosman - a harmony of contemporary everyday wear and traditional craftsmanship. Sanne and Anne’s focus is ultimately on the hand of the maker; each pattern is drafted, fitted and finished by hand before it is added to the collection.

The designs are inclusive in fit, designed for a wide array of bodies. Made from high-quality, durable and responsibly sourced cottons and rigid denims, woven in The Netherlands, Italy and England. Each Schepers Bosman piece is finished with an individual machine stitch in a unique thread gauge. Balancing function and decoration, this stitch acts as a graphic finishing touch, a personal signature on each piece. A subtle and intentional detail that speaks to their dedication to craft.

“… there is always a never-ending conversation going on between each other and everyone around us: artists, musicians, students. The interaction between all the creative individuals is the basis of our work. We design by doing.”
